The Skateboarding Hall of Fame recently paid tribute to the Master of Disaster Duane Peters on Father's Day.
A special ceremony celebrated his gnarly impact on skateboarding. The Hall of Fame shared a touching post on social media, featuring a photo of Peters feeding his one-year-old son, Clash, captured by skateboarding legend Lance Mountain.
This moment showcased DP's dual role as a punk skater and a devoted father. Fourteen years later, Peters brought Clash, who was now a teenager, up on stage at the SHoF induction ceremony, highlighting the strong bond between father and son.
SHOF posted, "Happy Father’s Day. We recently attended the exhibit put together by @lancemountain and it was really incredible. As a collector I had an extra level of appreciation for Lance’s career and collection. I decided to get this photo which is a photo of the Master of Disaster, Duane Peters feeding his 1 year old son Clash with a baby bottle. I told Lance…. I love this pic. Tough guy with a baby. Lance simply replied “He was really good at that time”. 14 years later DP brought his Son Clash up on stage with him to get his SHoF award. Swipe to see it. #skateboardinghalloffame"
