Professional skateboarder Sean Malto was recently featured in Ashland Hard Seltzer's video about his story of growing up in Kansas City and how he got sponsored.
The Euro-American and Filipino descent pro started his early career in his home town Leavenworth, Kansas which is a small town but when he went to Kansas City he eventually fell in love being in the big city and never wanted to leave.
The 31-year-old explains the small market town in his area which is not on the radar of a lot of professional skateboarders however, they have a strong local skate scene.
Malto had a great opportunity to be part of Girl skateboards when he was younger. They were just filming local skate videos and got recognition from pro skaters.
