After Enjoi Skateboards called it quits, professional girl skateboarder Samarria Brevard needed a quick break to digest what happened to her beloved skate team. She was a free agent for a while, but fans wanted her to keep shredding with a new group.
Brevard took time to think and joined the all-women skate army Meow Skateboards to empower female skaters in her new venture.
With the new partnership, Brevard will join fellow Meow Skateboards team members Poe Pinson, Kristin Ebeling, and Mariah Duran, all of whom are top-ranked skateboarders.
In a statement about the new partnership with Meow Skateboards, they said, "The stars have aligned! We are extremely proud to welcome longtime friend Samarria Brevard to the Meow Skateboards team. Samarria’s pro boards are shipping to shops now."
Brevard, who has been a vocal advocate for greater recognition and support for female skateboarders, is poised to play a key role in shaping the future of skateboarding and inspiring a new generation of female skaters.
