Skater girl and Olympian Ruby Lilley is officially pro for Foundation Skateboards, and honestly, it feels deserved after everything she has been doing these past few years.
Lilley has built a strong reputation not only because of how hard she skates, but also because of the way she carries herself around other people.
A lot of younger skaters look up to her because she stays respectful, focused, and humble both at contests and out in the streets.
At the same time, her skating has continued getting better and better.
She has been putting out serious footage, entering contests against some of the best skaters in the world, and showing consistency every time she steps on a board.
From her clips online to full video parts, it was obvious that bigger things were coming.
She already had an impressive list of accomplishments before turning pro.
Her appearances in projects connected with Monster Energy and Bronson Speed Co.
helped more people see what she could really do.
Add in all the clips she regularly posts on Instagram, and it felt like she was building momentum every single month.
What makes this even cooler is how fast everything happened.
Lilley only joined Foundation around two years ago, and now she officially has a pro board under one of the most respected brands under Tum Yeto.
That says a lot about how much trust the company has in her and where they think her career is heading.
A lot of skaters work for years hoping to hear that announcement, so seeing Lilley earn it at such a young age is pretty inspiring.
She has already represented skateboarding on one of the biggest stages through the Olympics, and now she adds professional skateboarder to the list.
Big congratulations to Lilley. Fully deserved.
