Sometimes things just fall into place without much planning, and that is exactly how Rowan Zorilla ended up riding for Thunder Trucks.

The Baker Skateboards pro shared that the whole thing started during a trip to Australia for The Bunt jam event.

Somewhere along the way, he lost his board.

Instead of stressing about it, he let it go and kept moving. At the time, it did not feel like a big deal, just one of those things that happens when you are traveling and skating nonstop.

After Australia, Rowan headed back to the US and later went on a Supreme trip in Miami. When he got back home, he realized he did not have trucks to set up a new board.

Normally, he would just grab trucks from the Supreme store, but they did not have his size. He ended up picking a size smaller than usual, thinking it might still work for him.

Not long after that, his homie Stu showed him the Kevin Bradley signature trucks from Thunder.

Rowan decided to give them a try, and that was the moment everything clicked. He liked how they felt right away and started skating them more and more.

Since Rowan and Kevin are close friends and teammates through Supreme, the timing made sense.

They were on the same skate trips, so Rowan kept the setup as it was and continued riding the KB pro model Thunders. The more he skated them, the better they felt under his feet.

He kept using the trucks consistently, and before he knew it, months had passed.

Then, he sent a photo into the group chat with a message that said, “Thunder you have one chance,” showing his board set up with the KB pro model trucks.

After about six months, Alden reached out to Rowan and asked him straight up if he wanted to ride for Thunder.

Rowan already had his answer.

And that was it. No big announcement at first, no complicated process. Just good timing, good friends, and a setup that felt right.

Riding Thunders just became part of his regular setup. That natural transition eventually led him to DLXSF and officially joining the same brand as Kevin.

Thunder Trucks later shared Rowan’s story with a post of their own, saying:

“Rowan Zorilla gives us the back story on how a lost board and some found Kevin Bradley trucks got him skating Thunders and on the team. KB, we owe you for this one 😉.”

Welcome to the team, Rowan.
