After giving Christine Flannigan a platform to help her put out her message, the "Brink Show" podcast host Robert Brink has just dropped the latest graphic lineup for his board brand, "The Nine Muses," and it’s looking fresh! Here’s what’s up:
Brink took to social media to announce that Edition Two of his boards is now available, showcasing some killer artwork by Chris Becker.
@theninemvses edition two with artwork by @chrisbeckerart has arrived in shops and online.
Entitled “Early Dreams of Flight II”, only 100 have been produced. The deck includes a hand-numbered postcard with original artwork and bio signed by Chris Becker and is available in two sizes: 8.25 and 8.38.
“Early Dreams of Flight II” features top and bottom graphics coated in a premium iridescent spray and raised ink embellishments for detail and texture. The rails are coated to hide the veneers and bring cohesiveness to the top and bottom graphics. “The Nine Muses” top laser etch came out pretty sick too.
When I began searching for artists for board #2, I didn’t need to go far. After linking up with @welderwings for board #1 and clicking around, my Insta algorithm did the rest and brought Chris’ page to me. I was astounded with what I saw.
Chris draws by hand with graphite and his pieces take weeks, even months, to complete.
