Professional skateboarder and television personality Rob Dyrdek is facing legal troubles after a former employee filed a lawsuit against him for alleged discrimination and harassment.
The ex-employee, Courtney Roberson, who is pregnant, claims she was wrongfully terminated from her job at Dyrdek's entertainment company, Get Mindright Inc., after announcing she was pregnant.
According to the report, the plaintiff was subjected to discriminatory behavior and harassment by her supervisor, who allegedly had to "endure unlawful pay, excessive hours, and other abject working conditions that violated employment and labor laws."
The lawsuit further alleges that Roberson said she was suffering "economic damages, including past and continuing loss of wages and other employment benefits, and noneconomic damages, including pain, suffering, and mental and emotional distress."
Roberson is requesting more than $25,000 from Dyrdek and Get Mindright Inc.
