Baker Skateboards professional skateboarder Riley Hawk has been off social media for a few years and didn't want to return after deleting the social apps.

Despite the need to promote sponsorships on Instagram and Facebook, Tony Hawk's son still did it for good but had to return due to his obligation to help the company sponsoring him.

"Now I'm back yeah because of I mean pretty much sponsorship obligations to put it in simpler terms," He said. "But but yeah I mean I think I feel like I'm at a point in my life where it just feels more like an avenue of the job of being a pro skater versus this thing that has to be personal to me I guess."

Riley, who used to be in a band called Warish, was always active in promoting their gigs and performances. However, he made a conscious choice to quit the band and focus on his personal life, a decision that commands respect.

The 31-year-old who married Curt Cobain's daughter also didn't share their private life on social media and kept it under wraps with only family members.
