In a recent YouTube video titled "Aaron Kyro, and the Rise and Fall of Braille Skateboarding's YouTube Channel" on the Dumb Data channel, Ricky Glaser stepped up to defend Aaron Kyro and Braille Skateboarding against allegations related to Scientology.
Glaser emphasized that Braille's YouTube channel is dedicated solely to skateboarding, without mentioning religious beliefs or political affiliations.
Despite accusations surrounding Kyro's donations to Scientology, Glaser argues that correlating personal beliefs with two separate entities, business, and religion, is a 'cheap shot.'
The YouTube star asserted that Braille Skateboarding's channel is a platform dedicated to promoting and sharing the joy of skateboarding.
According to him, the focus is on empowering individuals to learn and enjoy skateboarding, and any accusations regarding Scientology are unfounded.
The controversy arose when Kyro uploaded a video requesting donations for a skatepark. Little did viewers know that Kyro had been recognized for his generous contributions to his church.
The allegations suggested that Kyro donated a substantial amount, approximately 1 million dollars, to the Church of Scientology.
Critics pointed to the correlation between Kyro's donations and the funds generated through the Braille channel. Data suggested that he had only completed 36% of its L10 goals, leading some to speculate that the remaining funds were channeled into supporting Scientology.

The 32-year-old took the opportunity to stress that their YouTube channel's positive impact on the community.
He mentioned the support from kids at demonstrations, chanting Kyro's name and expressing gratitude for learning skateboarding tricks.
Glaser said that the focus should be on Braille's positive influence on aspiring skateboarders rather than unfounded accusations related to Scientology.
