Nike SB riders Paul Rodriguez and Hayley Wilson recently took a detour from their decks and dropped into jiu-jitsu.

These two accomplished skateboarders are known for their incredible skills on the board, but they decided to challenge themselves by exploring the dynamic world of martial arts.

The dynamic duo received an exciting invitation from Albino & Preto's Arvie G. and Nike SB designer Bryce W., avid practitioners of Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ).

With their distinctive SB Dunk Low collaboration set to release, the creators wanted to blend the worlds of skateboarding and martial arts, and what better way to do that than by introducing two skateboarding icons to the art of BJJ?

The session began with the basics - learning this centuries-old martial art's fundamental positions, movements, and techniques.

Despite being newcomers to the sport, both skaters displayed their characteristic determination and enthusiasm.
