Skateboarding fashion brand Palace and corporate skate shoe giant Nike came together to give London something real.
They turned an old building in South London called Manor Place into a free space for everyone to skate, play, chill, and just be part of the culture. The building has been around since 1895, but now it has a completely new purpose.
Manor Place has three main areas. The first is The Park and The Cage, where there is a polished skatepark with ramps, ledges, and benches. Underneath is a football cage that rises up for games and events.
It is open to everyone who wants to move, skate, or play. The design also pays respect to old London skate spots like Southbank and Stockwell to keep that local spirit alive.
The Front Room is all about art and culture. It features work from both new and known artists and hosts workshops, talks, pop ups, and exclusive Palace x Nike drops. Then there is The Residency, where six young creatives are given studio space for nine months at no cost. They can build their projects and later show their work in The Front Room.
Gareth Skewis, another Palace co founder, said they wanted to make something real for the community. Not just talk, but real action. A space that feels safe, open, and close to where Palace first began. Somewhere people can skate, play, and find something new.
To celebrate the launch, Palace and Nike released the P90 collection. It takes early 2000s football style and flips it into today’s streetwear. The collection includes shell suits, jerseys, hoodies, trainers, and tees. The pieces carry both the Palace Tri Ferg and the Nike Swoosh, bringing both brands together in one look.
The P90 collection drops October 31 on palaceskateboards.com and in Palace stores around the world. Footwear will also be available on SNKRS in select regions.
Manor Place officially opens to the public on November 11 at 33 Manor Place.
