BE CAREFUL: If you aspire to become a professional skateboarder in the core skateboarding industry, you should think a million times before you become a YouTube skater.
Ricky Glaser's former teammate Nigel Jones honestly expressed the YouTube and core side of skateboarding.
The 31-year-old was very direct and honest in his speech, without any hesitation. "The picky and choosies and the you cannot do this because of that and you're not this because of that, bro shut the f*ck up." Jones said, "I hate this sh*t."
According to Jones, skating is skating and he hates the word core.
The YouTube sensation said he grew up in the streets and he is from the streets. He said that he is not just a YouTube skater.

Even fellow YouTube star Lamont Holt also called out Thrasher about gatekeeping their shirts when Rhianna wore it. "That sh*t is weird to me," he said. "Why would they tell somebody they can't wear their sh*t."
Holt said that if you think that's not weird then you belong in the core side of skating.
Jones went on to explain that skaters see it as a childs channel. When he was with Braille, they do entertainment and even though they have brought in an entire generation to skateboarding.
The year 2017 - 2020 was their biggest one. "We had the world in a goddamn choke hold," he said. "Theres a lot people that told him that Jones is the reason why they skateboard.
They are the reason why the skaters learned tricks to their YouTube, got back to skating and also received sponsors, according to Jones.
Unfortunately, they weren't core enough for DLX Distribution when he was in talks with other core companies to bring Braille in the industry.
As a result, Lamont Holt chimed in and said when he was in Element Skateboards team, he was told not to do YouTube but still did that's why he never was on a legit board company.
