80s Tampa, Florida, death metal legends Deicide have officially started preproduction of their long-awaited 13th studio album.
On Thursday (October 20), Deicide's new guitarist Taylor Nordberg shared a photo on his official Instagram account of his studio setup from his home studio, Smoke And Mirrors Productions, with a surprise message.
"We have officially started preproduction for the new DEICIDE album!" Nordberg wrote.
Frontman Glen Benton recently mentioned their upcoming masterpiece on "The Garza Podcast" when asked if they have any plans in the future.
"The new stuff that we're writing now is really anthem-style stuff," Benton said. "It's really good, man. There's a lot of prog stuff in there, mixed in there. Steve's our prog guy, man; he's the progressive rock guy."
"He likes to write those really black metal riffs and the progressive stuff. He's an amazing talent, man. He plays piano. He can play sweeps on guitar. He's a drummer. Yeah, he can do it all." He said.
