Core skater and graffiti artist Nasty NeckFace had a rough day on the hills when a routine run turned into a hard bail.
While attempting a fast descent, he hit a tough patch of crust, got thrown off balance, and ended up fracturing his left humerus, the same arm he uses for his art.
Despite the injury, NeckFace said that he has no plans to stop skating and will still shred the gnar.
In a post online, he shared what happened and addressed other skaters.
He described the slam as the worst he has experienced so far, even though he has taken spills before.
He admitted that his art arm is out of commission for the moment but promised he still has tricks ready to go once he recovers.
NeckFace’s attitude shows that even after a serious fall, he is determined to keep going.
Skateboarders have been reacting to the post, showing support and admiration for his commitment.
While injuries are part of life on the hills, NeckFace will keep skating and keep creating, even if it means taking some hits along the way.
Of course, he will first focus on healing, but it seems only a matter of time before he is back bombing hills.
