Skater of the Year Milton Martinez has started offering private skateboarding lessons in Vista and Oceanside, giving fans a chance to learn directly from one of the most respected skaters in the scene.
Martinez shared that he is now doing private sessions for all levels, welcoming both kids and adults.
The lessons take place at his personal ramp or at local skateparks, depending on what works best for the session.
He invited anyone interested to send him a direct message to book a spot.
He said that he is stoked to help people improve, enjoy their time on a board, and feel more confident while skating.
The setup feels relaxed and personal, with a focus on spending time on the board and learning in a natural way rather than anything overly formal.
After one of his recent sessions, he also shared a more personal note about how it went. He said he had a great time and enjoyed seeing someone named Lannie skating in his own way and having fun with it.
He mentioned that moments like that are what made him love skateboarding in the first place, especially being able to share it directly with others and watch them grow comfortable on their board.
For many professional skateboarders, income often comes from different places outside of contest results and video parts.
Teaching lessons is one of those ways to stay connected to skating while also making a living.
Martinez stepping into coaching shows a more grounded side of life as a pro skater, where sharing skills and staying close to local skateparks becomes part of the daily routine.
His message has already caught attention from skaters in Southern California who are looking for a more personal way to learn, especially from someone who has spent years at the highest level of skating.

"Honestly had the best time today 🙏
Being able to share skating and see Lannie having so much fun, doing it his own way, was so rad.
This is exactly why I love skateboarding.
Hope I can keep doing this and share it with more people 🛹❤️🔥"
