READ MORE: Supreme and Martine Rose Reportedly Pull Mike Tyson Hoodie Featuring Palestinian Flag Before Release
The hoodie was part of a collaboration between Supreme and designer Martine Rose.
The original graphic was inspired by a vintage jacket featuring Tyson surrounded by national flags, but the updated version reportedly replaced the Israeli flag with the Palestinian one.
After the design attracted attention online, images of the hoodie were reportedly removed from Supreme’s promotional materials ahead of its scheduled release.
In a statement to Rolling Stone, Tyson’s legal team said Supreme changed the approved artwork without authorization, claiming the alteration violated their agreement. His lawyers also said they would take legal action to protect his name and likeness.
Supreme had not responded to the publication’s request for comment at the time of reporting.
