Skateboarding and metal music go hand-in-hand as both represent underground and counter-culture - in which values and norms of behavior differ substantially from those of mainstream society.
Metalhead skateboarder Colby De Luccia showcased his talent as a musician and a skater providing impressive street or park skating while playing his beloved bass guitar.
In a video posted, Luccia prepared his bass and cruiser board while ensuring he would do a manual and then nailed a finger flip off a two-stair to finish his masterpiece.
Luccia not only skates the streets with his bass, but he also skates transition and an excellent mini ramp sesh.
"I Feel like I'd rather not spread my DNA around like every other rockstar," Luccia said. "With what I'm doing, it won't be fun anymore when they start classifying what's good or not good. I believe whatever's being done is good no matter what!"
He added. "Either feeling of the tricks in odd-numbered notes to makes it seem like it's not past tense. Regular notes like a song too. If this is just for me, I'm thankful skateboard companies never cared to put me on cuz secretly I have a different plan to two things together and make a sweet difference."
The bass player skater plans to paint his name on plain blank decks soon.
"I Feel like I'm the only one doubling on the bs in this world," Luccia explained. "Might even triple it by coming up with lyrics or just random stuff, I would say, when it's the odd number notes. I'm going to record the video I put out recently."
