Skateboarding Olympian Margie Didal recently featured in Olympics Skateboarding's mini-documentary that chronicles her journey from the streets of Cebu to Olympic glory.
The inspiring film showcases her passion, perseverance, and determination to succeed despite facing numerous obstacles.
Didal grew up in the humble neighborhood of Cebu City, where she discovered skateboarding at a very young age. She was immediately drawn to the extreme sport and began practicing daily, using a borrowed skateboard and learning tricks by watching online videos.

In 2018, she won the gold medal in the Southeast Asian Games, becoming the first Filipina to do so in skateboarding.
