The extreme sports circuit organization Dew Tour has profiled professional skateboarder and Olympian Manny "Manny Slays All" Santiago regarding his secret to longevity in skateboarding.
As the upcoming Tokyo Olympics gets near, the 35-year-old Puerto Rican native prepares his body and mind to receive the gold medal.
The goofy-footed pro was quick to shift his focus to compete against top-notch professionals in the game.
Santiago starts off warming up on his flat-ground tricks with switch flips to nollies.
"I just do flat-grounds, just go through the straight eight and another straight eight," Santiago says. "You can build a perfect skatepark. You can build perfect obstacles but, you can never take the street skater out of a skater. You can find flat ground, and you just want to skate flat."
The strict vegetarian pro must find a way to execute his game plan properly to move to the finals as the Olympics will only air the top skaters on national TV.
Consequently, Santiago believes that he will take home the gold medal for his country and will remain victorious.
