FA World Entertainment's professional skateboarder Louie Lopez has been killing it on a skateboard for years, but there’s a lot more to him than just tricks.

In a chat with Noah Clothing, he opened up about his upbringing, family, and how skateboarding impacted his life in ways he didn’t expect.

Growing up in Guatemala, he had solid support from his parents. His dad’s a total G, and his mom? Still checks in on him like he’s a little kid, even though he’s way past that. But hey, that’s just love. No matter where skating has taken him, his family has always been his foundation.

His dad recognized his passion and let him go for it, while his mom made sure he didn’t slack off on everything else. That combo of freedom and support helped mold him into the person he is today.

Skateboarding was never just a way to kill time for Lopez. It became his whole life. What started out as a fun way to hang with the homies turned into a full-blown career.

Even with all the fame, he’s remained down-to-earth. He’s not caught up in the hype or the pressure. For Lopez, it’s still about the same thing it was when he first hopped on a board. Having fun, learning new stuff, and doing things his own way.

Giving back is a big deal for him too. Whether it’s helping out younger skaters throwing contests or keeping it real with the folks who’ve been there for him from the start, he knows how important it is to stay connected.

At the end of the day, it’s pretty simple. Keep skating, stay humble, and enjoy the ride.
