FA World Entertainment's top-notched Professional skateboarder Louie Lopez has officially parted ways with his long-time skate clothing sponsor Volcom after staying true to the team for 18 Years.
The 28-year-old pro skater took to Instagram and announced his departure from the lifestyle brand to let fans know how grateful he is for being part of the family.
"THANK YOU for 18 YEARS of love & support Volcom! Forever thankful 4 the miles & memories." Lopez said. "Will no longer be riding for Volcom but wanted to wish everyone the best and give a major shout out to Remy Stratton & everyone involved 4 holding it down all these years."
He continued. "This was the footage that I sent in to try and get sponsored by Volcom when I was 10. S/O pops for filming and thank you to everyone at Volcom for believing in me at such a young age. BIG LOVE ALWAYS."
Stratton also acknowledged Lopez's decision to leave the brand. "As we say 'the only constant is change'." Stratton said. "Working with 100's of heads at any given moment requires good shock absorbers and appreciating the need for individuals to move freely within their soul to do what's right for them."
"I worked with this fabulous individual Louie Lopez for 18 years at Volcom and enjoyed all of it," he said. "I wish him the best as he moves on and look forward to less business and more good times out and about, cheers Lou been a pleasure."
