DGK boss Lord Williams has been giving back to the youth and has celebrated the success of his brand with the collaboration with the international hip-hop music festival Rolling Loud.
The one of the biggest festivals in the world also celebrated its 10th anniversary, which Lord Williams proudly boasts that DGK has an edge outside the skateboarding community.
The DGK and Rolling Loud partnership was an amazing opportunity to spread joy and positivity to kids and skaters.
It was heartwarming to see the smiles on their faces and witness the incredible bond that skateboarding can create among people of all ages and backgrounds.
The company also held its first annual DGK x Rollingloud picnic table contest, with $10,000 cold cash awarded to the best skaters for tricks on and over the tables.
Unfortunately, Tim Pool and The Boonies are not the only ones who can give the $10,000 kind of amount of money to skateboarders.
Lord Williams posted, "When they counted dgk out we never folded! When they talked the most shit about dgk we stayed solid! But let me ask you this?"
He continued, "What skateboard brand has this much culture, gives back to the community, feed the streets we bleed on, becoming partners with other dominant brands and look amazing doing it for skateboarding?"
"Stop playing with me and the empire we’ve built!" Lord Williams said, "When you realize all this comes from being laughed at, put down and doubted I would think you got the fucking message!!! We are the generational brand for the streets!!"
