Birdhouse Skateboards' pro skater Lizzie Armanto is kicking off summer in the best way possible: by giving back to the next generation of skateboarders.
She’s teamed up with Vans and Woodward to offer six scholarships to kids who want to experience the skate-filled days of summer camp at Woodward West in California or Woodward PA in Pennsylvania.
The giveaway, which was announced on Lizzie’s Instagram, is open to skaters aged 8 to 17.
To enter, all you have to do is comment on her post explaining why you want to go to Woodward and tag a friend you’d want to bring with you. Lizzie will randomly pick six comments and with each winner bringing a friend, that’s 12 total spots up for grabs.
Each scholarship covers camp tuition, meals, a bunk, and full access to Woodward’s famous skateparks during Lizzie’s dedicated weeks:
Week 1 at Woodward West: June 15–20
Week 2 at Woodward PA: June 22–28
You’ll still need to handle travel and personal expenses, but everything else is taken care of. It’s a solid chance for young skaters to hang out, ride all day, and meet Lizzie herself.
