Pro skater Michael "Lizard King" Plumb is celebrating one year clean, and for someone who used to run wild and party hard, that’s no small thing.

The good homie was known for turning up and causing a ruckus, always that wild card in the skate scene.

He wasn’t part of the Piss Drunx crew officially, but he rolled deep with the Baker and Deathwish Skateboards crews, so he’s been through the chaos and seen how the game goes.

Lizard King used to live for the nights out, acting a little crazy and testing everyone’s limits.

But this past year, he flipped the script. He straight up left all that behind and got sober, handling his business and cleaning up his act.

It’s been a major change for him, and everyone who’s watched knows this ain’t just a fad.

He’s serious about it.

Lizard King’s skating sharper, his head’s clear, and he’s building better connections with the people around him.

The old partying days are gone, replaced by a grind that’s all about the future and keeping it hesh but sober. His crew and fans respect his decision to stay sober, knowing how tough it is to make that kind of switch.

Lizard King’s story is proof that you can drop the wild life and still stay true to who you are.

One year clean is just the start, and now people are watching how he’s gonna run it from here, both on the board and off. The kid’s showing what growth looks like straight from the streets.
