Leo Romero, one of the most respected names in professional skateboarding, has officially joined the skateboard trucks crew at Slappy Trucks.

Choosing the right trucks has always been important for a pro skater, and after checking out what Slappy had to offer, Romero decided there was no reason to ride anything else.

Slappy Trucks might be newer in the skateboarding scene, but the team is determined to stand out and show skaters what they can do.

Slappy head honcho Mike Sinclair shared that he wants the company to grow with top skaters and to connect with the OGs and newer members of the skateboarding community.

Romero’s presence will not only help show what Slappy Trucks can do, but it also makes sense for the brand to have a skater of his experience guiding the way.

With Romero riding for them, skaters everywhere can see that Slappy isn’t just another name, it is aiming to make gear that works for real skaters in the streets.

Slappy shared on social media:

"It’s an honor to welcome Leo Romero #SlappyTrucks #HaveFunWithUs"

This is a new chapter in Romero's skate life, and for Slappy, it is a step toward building a stronger presence in the skateboarding world. Both the skater and the brand are ready to show the skateboarding community what comes next.
