Japanese Super Rat Kento Yoshioka was arrested by the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Hayama Police Station on suspicion of violating the Cannabis Control Act for possession.
The 24-year-old pro skateboarder from Zushi City, Kanagawa Prefecture, known for his contributions to the skateboarding scene and his involvement in music and fashion through his clothing brand, admitted to the charges.
According to reports, his arrest follows an incident on July 12th when Yoshioka was initially apprehended for allegedly carrying a small amount of dried cannabis on a beach in Hayama Town, Kanagawa Prefecture.
The police acted on a report from a concerned resident who observed a "suspicious person." Upon inspecting Yoshioka's belongings, law enforcement discovered fragments believed to be dried cannabis.
