The creative mind and skateboarder a lot of us first discovered through YouTube, Jason Park, has officially announced that he’s moving on from Revive Skateboards.
In a post he shared, Park kept it pretty simple and honest, saying:
"As of today, I no longer skate for Revive Skateboards. I won’t go into details about my reasons for leaving - I’ll just say that it felt like it was time to move on, and that this was the best decision for me and where I’m at in my life right now. Thank you Andy and Brian for the years of support and friendship, and thank you to everyone out there who has ever supported me in any way. Love you guys ❤️"
The YouTube skater has always had a pretty unique way of skating — mixing technical tricks with humor and a style that’s really his own.
He built a strong following not just because of what he could do on a skateboard, but because of how much fun he clearly had doing it. That’s a big part of what made his time with Revive so special for fans.
Seeing him move on feels a little bittersweet for those who have followed his career.
He and Andrew Shrock had a pretty good run together. He had tons of funny videos and moments that really connected with people.
But at the same time, it sounds like Park knows exactly what he needs at this point in his life, and that’s something to respect.
Schrock and Brian Ambs, the guys behind Revive, have always been about supporting their riders as more than just team members, and it’s clear that there’s still a lot of appreciation there on both sides.
As for what’s next, Park hasn’t dropped any big hints yet. Whether he’s joining a new company, starting something of his own, or just skating for fun without any labels for a while, there’s no doubt people are going to keep watching.
Park’s creativity and weird sense of humor have always made him stand out, and whatever he decides to do next, it's going to be interesting.
For now, it's just cool to see someone doing what feels right for them, even if it means stepping away from something that’s been a big part of their life for years.
Best of luck to Park in whatever comes next and if history’s any guide, it’s going to be worth keeping an eye on.
