Vert professional skateboarder Jason Ellis is back doing what he does best but this time it is on a whole different level.
Lights Out Skate or Die is not your average skate doc. It has the old school skate style from the eighties mixed with wild hunting in the middle of nowhere and a lot of real life grit.
The film takes you out to Utah where Jason is out in the wild tracking predators. At first it looks like some crazy adventure but it is way more than that.
The danger out there is loud but it is also teaching him lessons about facing old shit and moving past it.
Jason is ripping it on the skateboard like only he can. But it is not just about tricks. It is about how you keep your head when everything around you is going sideways. It is about staying solid when shit gets real.
The Utah wilderness is raw and wild. It is quiet and scary at the same time. Jason is learning to deal with it all from the wildlife he is tracking to his own thoughts that are creeping up.
For anyone who loves skateboarding, adrenaline, or just watching someone handle themselves when things get intense, Lights Out Skate or Die is a ride. Jason Ellis is keeping it one hundred on this one.
