REAL Skateboards' professional skateboarder Ishod Wair stopped by the Route One London store to chop it up about everything from his signature shoe to the struggle of being sidelined with an injury.

Wair gave some real insight into the ups and downs of skating, including the mental battle that comes with being stuck in a wheelchair for a month.

Anyone who follows him knows he puts everything into his skating, so hearing him talk about the frustration of not being able to roll was a reminder of how much he loves what he does.

Sitting on the sidelines is never easy, especially when you’re used to spending every day on a board.

But even with the setback, his mindset stayed solid. He reflected on how injuries force skaters to slow down, reassess, and come back even stronger.

Wair’s always got good stories to tell, and this sit-down was no different.

If you haven’t checked out the full interview yet, it’s definitely worth a watch.
