Skateboarding influencer Bryan Arnett is facing legal heat after a prank video landed him in trouble with In-N-Out Burger.
The popular fast food chain has filed a lawsuit accusing Arnett of impersonating one of its employees and filming interactions with real customers while wearing what appeared to be an official uniform.
The TikTok skater is no stranger to attention. With more than 330,000 subscribers, he's built a strong following for his street skating clips, personality-driven content, and out-of-the-box videos that often blend humor with absurdity.
He’s also credited as one of the first influencers to feature skateboarding icon Paul Rodriguez on a livestream, helping bridge the gap between core skate fans and broader online audiences.
This time, though, his antics may have gone too far.
According to the lawsuit filed in a Central California court, Arnett entered an In-N-Out location dressed in a fake uniform designed to mimic the company’s official gear.
He then filmed himself interacting with unsuspecting customers while making crude jokes and false claims about the food.
Among the things he allegedly told customers was that the burgers were contaminated with items like condoms and cockroaches. He also claimed the staff put their feet in the lettuce.
In-N-Out is accusing Arnett of using its brand to mislead the public and damage its reputation.
The company wants him banned from its properties and is asking for the removal of any videos that feature its name, logo, or likeness. They’re also seeking damages and any profits that may have come from the prank content.
At the time of writing, the videos appear to have been removed from Arnett’s channel, and he hasn’t made a public comment on the lawsuit. It’s unclear if he plans to respond legally or issue a statement to his fans.
For someone who built his reputation through skate clips, livestreams, and pranks, Arnett’s latest video may have gone a step too far - at least in the eyes of a company known for protecting its image as fiercely as it grills its burgers.
