The situation started getting attention when Tim Pool said she’s been dealing with heavy backlash online after her husband passed.
This led The Boonies pro skater to defend her from harsh comments online.
From Sanchez’s point of view, the way Erika is being treated is out of line, and he’s putting the blame on Democrats.
He tied it into a bigger issue, saying this kind of behavior reflects how divided things are right now, not just in politics but across social media, adding that conservatives have also engaged in harassment in the past.

The full-on back and forth from dems and libs made it more intense, with skaters arguing nonstop about where the line even is.
MAGA skaters are saying a grieving widow should be off limits, no questions asked. But on the other side, a lot of Democrat and liberal-leaning skaters are not letting up at all, still clowning Erika and treating it like just another online moment.
Now it’s not just politics talking. The skate scene and online communities are mixed on it, with people picking sides and debating how far is too far.
At the center of it all is Erika, caught in the middle of a situation that keeps getting gnarly.
