Big news for skaters in Henry County. Thanks to a lot of hard work and teamwork, a new skatepark is on the way!
Skatepark Hero Mike Manion dropped the exciting update, letting everyone know that Henry County, Georgia is teaming up with The Skatepark Project to make this happen.
Manion took to social media to share the news and gave props to the local skate crew for their efforts. "This probably wouldn’t be happening right now without all of you. You all really stuck together and put our hometown on the map," he said, giving a shoutout to skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, AEW Superstar Darby Allin, and everyone else who played a part.
Fellow skater JL Tomlin chimed in with, "You are the fuckin man bro!" To which Manion humbly replied, "Just thankful to be part of it all. Btw gotta come hit that Jacksonville park—it looks sick."
With everything finally moving forward, local skaters in Henry County can look forward to having a spot made just for them.
