Skateboarding veteran and the 2008 Transworld's "Best Street Skater" Guy Mariano has officially joined April Skateboards.
The word on the street is that Numbers Edition skateboards went out of business in 2020 mainly because their social media accounts were lacking.
Unfortunately, another skate veteran Erik Koston moved on with Skate Mental and has always been getting a guest board.
On November 19, 2015, Girl Skateboards announced that Koston, along with Mariano, would no longer ride for the company. The announcement was made through Girl's Instagram page, captioned "Thanks for the memories."
A year after, Mariano and Koston announced the formation of Numbers Skateboards to invigorate the skate scene.
Despite the efforts, Numbers Edition skateboards had to call it quits. The move came amid questions about how it all happened after seeing growth in the business.
Although some things might need to end, Mariano has finally found a new home.
"Incredibly honored and grateful for the support of Shane Oneill and the April skateboards team for allowing me to keep my dream alive. Excited for this new blessing." Mariano posted.
