The goofy-footed Portuguese professional skateboarder Gustavo Ribeiro has finally won his first Street League Skateboarding top spot award.
With several outstanding skate trick combos, the judges issued his deserving nine club score making Nyjah Huston in the 2nd place.
The 20-year-old pro skater closed out his last trick with an astounding 360 flip to frontside nose bluntslide on a huge handrail. It was the record-setter as the most insane best trick of the 1st stop of the championship tour.
Huston on the other hand tried his hardest to land his trick but missed his full-cab flip to lipslide, losing to Ribeiro with only 0.4 points.
Alex Midler, who placed 3rd made the most of his time in the spotlight with an impressive performance. He received 25.4 points.
Ribeiro outstruck his competition considered the best of the best contest skaters in the history of SLS. He took his competitors seriously, eventually stunning and finishing in 1st place.
