Girl Skateboards pro skater Griffin Gass has been putting in serious work skating street spots and stacking footage, even without having a shoe sponsor backing him.
That has now changed as he links up with DC Shoes and starts rolling with the brand.
Griffin has already been spending time filming with Josh Kalis, capturing lines and tricks in real street settings.
Seeing Kalis involved adds a certain level of respect since he has been a key figure in skateboarding for years with DC Shoes and knows exactly what goes into proper street skating clips.
Griffin joining DC Shoes means he is now part of a crew that has deep roots in skateboarding culture and history.
DC Shoes has always had a strong presence in street skating, and bringing in someone like Griffin fits right into that direction.
His skating style, consistency, and the way he approaches spots have been building attention for a while, and this step just makes things official especially with Kalis filming his firing line.
