OG Shorty’s Skateboards pro skater Toan Nguyen is facing a tough challenge. He's been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
He really needs our support right now, and there's a GoFundMe set up to help cover his medical and living expenses.
Toan is starting his first round of chemotherapy on February 24, 2025, and he’s on the bone marrow transplant list.
He’s getting great care at City of Hope, one of the best treatment spots, but even with Medicaid, the costs are a lot to handle.
The fundraiser is aimed at covering medical bills, hospital stays, treatments, medications, and daily expenses while Toan can’t work.
His partner Christine is with him through it all, but the stress of medical coverage and out-of-pocket costs is real.
The goal is to lighten the financial burden so Toan can concentrate on healing.
