Ginwoo Onodera has secured the top spot in the 2023 X Games Men’s Skateboard Street Podium.
The young skater from Japan showed off his impressive skating and incredible style throughout the competition, stunning judges and fans.
Onodera has been a rising star in skateboarding for some time, but this victory marks a significant milestone in his career.
He has been putting in countless hours of practice, and it’s clear that his hard work paid off when he got on the Red Bull skate team.
Throughout the competition, Onodera wowed the crowd with his kickflip backside tailslide to fakie, kickflip blunt stall to flip out, switch frontside boardslide, double varial flip gap, and a kickflip frontside bluntslide to bigspin put on a massive handrail all while maintaining perfect balance and control.
He approached each obstacle confidently and creatively, impressing judges with his unique approach to the course.
On the other hand, Kelvin Hoefler took the second spot with his blindside and technical tricks, while Jamie Foy received third place for his smooth-flow handrail skating.
