It's aberrant for a pro skater to use different skate shoes while on a contract from a corporation. Still, skateboarding icon Gino Iannucci jumped the gun by skating Japan's authentic Asics footwear.
It's Official: Gino Iannucci Leaves Adidas to Join Asics Skateboarding
After Adidas officially welcomed Iannucci to their skate family on November 10, 2022, the goofy-footed pro is no longer wearing their brand.
Hence, Asics skateboarding proudly featured the FA World Entertainment rider on their Instagram account using their shoes.
Asics or Adidas has yet to comment on Iannucci's stand, whether he left or joined a new company to represent. But one thing is certain - a pro skater would only wear the same footgear if paid to promote the brand.
Iannucci is also not listed on the Adidas skateboarding website, which means he doesn't ride for their globe-spanning talent.
The legend also didn't announce anything but commented on "ASICS 2023" on the Asics Instagram post about him skating with the gear.
