As we previously reported, Street League Skateboarding is now aiming to promote gambling in its events.
Surprisingly, Geoff Rowley, the British legendary pro skater, expressed his disapproval of Street League Skateboarding's decision but clarified that he was not fundamentally against sports betting.
Fellow iconic skateboarder Sean Goff also stated, "I bet he's not against it really."
Rowley recently commented about his views on gambling and SLS. In a statement, he clarified that he is not opposed to gambling, nor is he against SLS doing it. He further added that it should not overanalyze his simple comment, which had a question mark at the end.
Despite his reservations about gambling, Rowley made it clear that he holds a deep appreciation for SLS, acknowledging the positive impact the organization has had on his career.
"I am not against gambling, nor SLS doing that." Rowley said, "Please don’t make more out of a simple comment with a ??? At the end SLS has always been good to me. Thank you."
