Successful Japanese contest skateboarder Funa Nakayama has graduated safely from High School despite competing in high-level professional skateboarding contests in Street League Skateboarding.
While studying, Nakayama also received her first bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics.
The Japanese contest girl skater also received her first Thrasher cover as the first-ever girl skateboarder to Nail a frontside crook on the iconic Hollywood High skate spot.
With her hard work and determination to succeed academically and professionally in the skateboard world, Nakayama shows that anybody can achieve greatness, even if you are just a young girl from Japan.
More skater girls are now vying for their way to the top, and Nakayama is a good role model.
Congratulations to Nakayama for a job well done!
