Filipe Mota has finally reached the moment everyone saw coming.
After years of putting in serious work, he is no longer an amateur for Switch God Paul Rodriguez and the rest of the Primitive crew.
The team decided to make the announcement in the best way possible by surprising him with a golden pro model board, a sign that he now stands among their top riders.
Since joining Primitive in August 2022, the young skater from Brazil has been spending every day proving why he belongs in the spotlight.
His drive is easy to see. Every clip he releases shows how committed he is to skating the most intense street spots with skill and confidence.
One moment that had the entire community talking was his Welcome part for Primitive.
The highlight was his frontside hurricane grind on the iconic Hollywood High spot. Anyone who has stepped near that spot knows how intimidating it is, yet Filipe made it look clean and controlled.
The rest of the video kept skaters hooked because it showed just how gnarly he can be even as an amateur two years ago.
Now at nineteen years old and officially a pro, Filipe can continue to build on everything he has already achieved.
This new chapter gives him even more room to grow as he keeps delivering for his sponsors and focuses on winning contests.
Core heads have been watching him rise for years and it feels satisfying to see him finally reach this level.
Congratulations to Mota for earning his place among the pros. He worked for it and he clearly deserves it. Hell yeah!
