Baker Skateboards' professional skateboarder turned YouTube skater Justin "Figgy" Figueroa is still out here grinding rails, cracking jokes, and now vlogging with a camera pointed straight in his face.
In his latest YouTube post, Figgy pulls up to Sheldon for a mellow session with longtime friends and familiar faces.
Ryan Ewing, aka Beagleoneism, Kevin "Spanky" Long, and Nasty Neckface all pulled up.
But before rolling in, Figgy hits viewers with a self-aware moment - half-joking, half-genuinely wondering: "Is there an age limit for talking to a camera in your face?"
It’s a funny callout to the ongoing divide between core skaters and the newer generation documenting every session for the algorithm. The answer, though?
Who cares. Figgy’s gonna do his thing. If YouTube helps pay the bills while he still skates hard, so be it.
The sesh at Sheldon isn’t some over-the-top production. It’s just a bunch of close friends hanging out, skating, and catching up.
There’s something nice about seeing these longtime skate homies kicking it without trying to prove anything.
As skateboarding content keeps changing and everyone’s got a camera in their pocket, it’s cool to see someone like Figgy leaning into it without pretending to be anything other than who he is.
He might joke about vloggers and YouTube skaters not being accepted by the "core," but he’s lived the real skate life long enough to do whatever he wants and still get respect for it.
Check out the video. It’s got that laid-back feel that makes you want to grab your board, hit the local, and just chill with your crew.
