Brazilian skateboarder Felipe Nunes proves that disability will never hinder him to win the Dew Tour Des Moines 2021 men's adaptive park and street category.
The adaptive skate contest is meant to help pave the way for bringing adaptive skateboarding and WCMX to the Paralympics.
The 21-year-old Birdhouse skateboards rider nailed a big kickflip drop in over a gap from a banked extension on course.
He also followed with the most technical tricks including a backside flip, backside flip to tail, backside noseblunt, overcrook grind, blunt to fakie, backside 360 flip over a hip, and a frontside flip over another hip.
Nunes said. "I’m super happy to be here and to have the opportunity to skate here." After winning the Adaptive Street competition a little bit later in the morning. “I really love both street and park.”
Congratulations to all the skaters that did compete in the Adaptive Park and Street category. Watch the videos below. Enjoy!
