Brazilian professional skate ripper Felipe Nunes has officially joined the Vans off the wall family.

The 22-year-old Birdhouse pro became the first-ever handicap rider for Vans footwear. With all of the hurdles he faced, Nunes kept going and didn't give up.

"I lost my legs when he was six years old. For the next five years, I did everything in a wheelchair, and then I discovered skateboarding." Nunes said.

The disparity of having legs in skateboarding is an edge to be one of the best in the game. Hence, Nunes was a different beast.

His perseverance as a dominant skater showed that everyone with dedication, and those who put in the effort, can be a part of the Vans family.

Nunes also thanked skateboarding as it made him one of the greatest of all time with no excuses in mind.
