Skateboarding punk rock legend Duane Peters has been open lately about trying to rebuild himself.
As we previously reported, he has been praying more, trying to calm his mind, and working on forgiving people from his past.
Even with all that effort, daily life has still been rough for him.
Motel rent alone has become a constant hurdle, and he is now reaching out to the skate community for help.
The Master of Disaster has always been known for going all in, both on a board and in life, but right now he is dealing with real financial pressure again.
To keep a roof over his head, he has started offering up some of his most personal items from his long history in skateboarding.
These are pieces that mean something to him, items from moments that shaped his name in the scene, and gear that many collectors would normally jump at.
But for DP, it is simply about getting through each day.
Peters shared a message online explaining how tough things have become and asking anyone who is able to help out.
He said that no one should feel pressured, only that he is trying to get by and is grateful for any support at all.
