Disorder Skateboards pro skater Dominick Walker is asking his family, friends, and community to come together as he works to give his mother, Iris Walker, the farewell she deserves.
Domo recently shared a $10,000 fundraising goal, asking people who know him and those who have followed his career to help his family cover funeral expenses.
“My Family. My Folks. My Community. 10k GOAL,” Walker wrote.
He explained that every donation can help, regardless of the amount. He is also asking people to keep his family in their prayers, share the fundraiser, or simply offer a kind word during a difficult period.
The loss came after a health crisis that began on August 26, 2026.
Domo said his family stayed by Iris’s side and fought alongside her until her final breath on September 5 at approximately 1:05 PM.
Iris was the oldest of six siblings and raised six children.
Domo described her as loving, caring, and full of life, remembering the way her personality could light up a room.
For Domo, this is about more than covering the cost of a funeral. He is trying to honor a mother who played an important role in his life and whose presence will continue through the family she raised.
In his tribute, Domo spoke directly to his mother, telling her how much he loved her and how deeply he treasured everything they shared.
He also said his faith in God will help him carry her love, laughter, and playful spirit with him.
“Your memory will live on through all of us,” Walker wrote.
Walker said he plans to keep sharing updates on the fundraiser so supporters can follow along as the family works through the coming days.
For anyone who wants to help, contributions to the $10,000 goal will help cover Iris Walker’s funeral expenses.
