One of the most innovative skateboarding competitions of all time that is always bringing the best skateboarders and bands in the world, Dew Tour has unveiled their new and improved skateboarding venue in Lauridsen Skatepark this summer in May 20-23.
The event will only serve as the only U.S.-based global Olympic skateboard qualifying event in 2021. The event will also include World Skate sanctioned men’s and women’s skateboarding Street and Park competitions. This is the first time that skateboarding will debut in the Olympics however, due to the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic it was postponed last 2020.
The extraordinary skate park courses have two skate bowls, tall ledges, and more. Lauridsen Skatepark was also built by world-class California skatepark architects of Dew Tour since 2014 - additionally, Dew Tour is going to be the first-ever event to held an 88,000 square foot park.
With the current state of the pandemic, details around hosting public spectators are being evaluated amongst Dew Tour, World Skate, and local state event partners for health and safety reasons. Detailed information will be announced soon.
Dew Tour will be live-streamed in its entirety on its official site, Facebook Live, YouTube, and other major platforms for a total of 25+ hours of LIVE video. Some of the hours will be aired on NBC and NBCSN this summer.
