Up-and-coming contest skateboarder Cordano Russell has been on a steady climb, and his latest interview for The Platfrm's "Then and Now" gives a deeper look into where it all started.

Russell was just another kid rolling through the streets, finding his footing in skateboarding before eventually making his way to Southern California.

Now, at just 20 years old, he’s already making noise and proving that he’s got what it takes to hold his own among the best.

In this episode, Russell lays it all out - his first setups, the clips that got him fired up as a kid, and the crews that shaped him along the way.

Growing up, he spent hours watching classic video parts, breaking down each trick and line, trying to replicate what he saw.

Those early days, filled with long sessions and endless trial and error, built the foundation for where he’s at now.
