Mikey Taylor is not the only skateboarder politician; republican congressman Rich McCormick is also a gnarly skater and shows his skills on the board.
Imagine the surprise when Georgia Representative Rich McCormick was spotted skateboarding in the Capitol right after a meeting where House Republicans selected Utah Representative Blake Moore as conference vice chair.
And get this, last January, McCormick threw down a challenge called "Spot the SKATEBOARD!"
He basically dared folks to snap a pic of him riding his board, then post it on X and tag him (@RepMcCormick).
Congressman McCormick posted, "Spot the SKATEBOARD!
Calling all spotters! I’ve got a challenge for you.
To play: spot me on my skateboard, snap a picture, and post on X tagging me (@RepMcCormick). Once you’ve posted, email a link to [email protected] to be entered into the contest!
On March 20th I’ll take the top 10 posts (those with the most reactions) and put them all in a drawing for a custom signed rugby ball! (I am an avid rugby player!)
Happy spotting!"
