Cocona Hiraki made a triumphant return to the X Games in Japan, taking home the gold medal in the Women's Skateboard Park competition. Hiraki wowed the judges with her impressive backside crailslide and flawless execution grinding rails, solidifying her place as one of the top skateboarders in the world.

The 14-year-old skater from Japan has been making waves in the skateboarding world since she was just nine years old, and her skills have only continued to improve.

Hiraki executed an indie grab, followed by a frontside crail stall, and then landed a massive smith grind, backside overcrooked grind, with another backside five-0.

Despite missing the backside tailslide, she still received tons of love from the judges and continued to finish her run.

Her victory was extraordinary for the hometown crowd, who cheered her on throughout the competition. The young skater was emotional as she received her medal, thanking her fans and supporters for their encouragement.

Congratulations to Hiraki for a job well done. Stream the full X Games contest below now!
